This course prepares students for the exam and develops theirformal and academic English skills. Offered at intermediate and upper-intermediate levels. Academic Module in Auckland, General Module in Christchurch.
  • Cambridge Exam Preparation: The University of Cambridge Exams are internationally recognized tests of English. Preparation for the First Certificate and Advanced Certificate available. Focus is on reading, writing, use of English and speaking skills needed for the Exam. Strong intermediate or upper intermediate level necessary.
  • TOEFL Preparation Course: The Test of English as a Foreign Language is used for students planning to goto university (usually in NorthAmerica). Focus of the course is onthe reading, listening and grammar skills (American English) needed for the exam. Pre-intermediate/intermediate level needed.
  • TOEIC Preparation Courses: Prepares students for the The Test of English for International Communication, which concentrates on developing listening and reading skills for use in real life situations. Especially useful for business people. (Christchurch campus only)
