European Centre of English Language Studies was established in 1991, in response to the increasing demand for a quality English Language School in Malta. The school was set up by one of Malta's leading educational institutions: Chiswick House School, among the first of Malta's private schools, founded in 1905. Our school is a member of FELTOM (the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta) which is a self-regulating association promoting Malta as an English language destination in the Mediterranean and ensuring that quality standards are upheld.
